If you are reading this it is because your profile has been suspended and you are looking for how to recover your instagram account, let me tell you that you have come to the right place. I am Andi García, instagram specialist, owner of 3 accounts with more than 100,000 followers, I have reactivated all my accounts, regardless of whether they have been suspended for Ccopyright, impersonation or explicit content.
In this Blog I will teach you to recover your suspended instagram account step by step, I will attach all the form links for the appeal and I will tell you what information to add so that Instagram reactivates your account.
Before telling you how to recover an Instagram account we have to know why instagram deactivates accounts, this way you will avoid future suspensions.
Why does Instagram deactivate accounts?
Instagram deactivates accounts that do not comply with the Community Guidelines, the most popular reasons why Instagram disables accounts are,Copyright, Explicit Content, Spam, Hate and Bullying
- Copyright– Only share photos and videos that you have taken or recorded, or that you have the right to share.
- Explicit Content– Post photos and videos that are appropriate for a diverse audience.
- Spam-Foster relevant and genuine interactions.
- Hate– Comply with the law. Instagram does not accept activities or people that support or praiseterrorism, organized crime or groups that promote hate. Also prohibited are offers ofsexual servicesand the sale of firearms, alcohol and tobacco products between individuals, as well as the purchase or sale of illegal drugs.
- Bullying– Respect other members of the Instagram community.
How to recover my Hacked Instagram account
Si te han hackeado tu cuenta de Instagram lo primero que debes hacer es intentar recuperar el acceso con tu email o teléfono, comprueba si recibiste un SMS o email solicitando cambio de contraseña y haz clic en “no reconozco esta actividad”.
Luego puedes probar “he olvidado contraseña” y rellenas los datos. Instagram no ofrece ninguna otra opción para las cuentas hackeadas, antes había un formulario pero no hacían nada al respecto. Te dejo un artículo donde te digo como puedes “prevent being hacked” gratis.
How to recover my Instagram account?
Recovering an Instagram account is not an easy task, we will have to invest time y patience in the process, depending on the type of community guideline you have infringed you will recover it sooner or later, it generally takes from 5 days to 1 year (In my case it took a year to recover one of my accounts with 188k).
The process itself is simple, you access the appeal forms, fill in the information, reply to the email they send you with a photo of yourself and then the suspended accounts department agents review your case and give you an answer. The problem is that Instagram has quite a few problems, the interface does not work well, the forms are difficult to find, they only support in English etc..
1 – Access your account
Log in to your account, from the app or from the computer, if from the app it gives you an error do it from a computer.
2 – Suspension information
Once you have logged into your account most likely a banner will appear informing you of the deactivation of your account, click on more information. If a link does not appear afterwards that says “mi cuenta ha sido suspendida por error” you must proceed with the forms. In this image of one of my accounts you can see how it does not give the option to appeal.
3 – Appeal the Suspension
We proceed to appeal Instagram's decision to Deactivate our account. Instagram has forms where we can request a review of our accounts, you will have to fill out all the forms, if you have a business linked to your account better.
Instagram Deactivated accounts form
If this is the first time your account is deactivated and the suspension is not serious you will surely have it back in a matter of a few days, however if the reason for your suspension is serious and they have already suspended it several times you will have to answer all the forms several times a week until they reactivate it.
4 – Upload documents
Once the appeal form is filled out and submitted, Instagram will send you an email requesting a photo showing your face and a piece of paper, on the paper you must write the code they indicate, your name and your username, you must send the file in JPEG format, if it is JPG or PNG they will not accept it.
5 – Repeat and wait
Once all these steps are completed you will have to repeat them and wait for Instagram to give you an answer, the ideal is that every time Instagram rejects your appeal you fill out all the forms again. Repeat the process until you recover your account, the ones who review your profile are not always the same so at some point they will reactivate your instagram profile.
Fix "Confirm your account to request a review" Instagram
Instagram has been experiencing for more than a year an uncommon error for users who want to reactivate their Instagram accounts, this error took place in one of my accounts, which is why I am going to teach you how to fix it.
The link is the common one to recover your Instagram account (https://help.instagram.com/contact/1652567838289083) but with a slight modification. Instead of Instagram it is facebook, you have to add some extra parameters, I leave you the link here – https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/contact/1652567838289083.
If you do not have a business you can ask an acquaintance to do you a favor and pass you some of the requested documents, you can also try attaching your ID and claiming that you are self-employed. So far that is the único enlace que me ha cogido la cuenta sin darme el error “Confirma tu cuenta para solicitar una revisión”. I hope it helps you recover your Instagram account.

Buenas tardes.
